NAND Android ROM with best battery life for HD2

Postby NFSKyosho » 15 Jan 2012 19:20

I am using the TyphooN Cyanogenmod 7 ROM for the HD2, and the famous Neopeek moderator, BlackRa1n, suggested me to use the Zeam Launcher instead of LauncherPro, and to under volt (thanks for the suggestion, BlackRa1n) but the Zeam Launcher only seems to do a little help, and I don't know how/want to under volt. I also don't want to invest in a new battery. So which Android ROM has the best battery life? Speed and size of the ROM don't matter to me that much, but it should be ready for daily use. I have tried many, but I don't know which is the best for battery life.

please try this app: antutu cpumaster
It has dozens of options to undervolt / underclock your device. But you will have to invest some time to find stable values on your own as each cpu is unique. of course you will have to use also an optimum kernel for this.

can't help you with that question. Some kernels are more battery friendly but usually the changelog of the kernel devs will give you more details about battery.

Thanks for your help, but like I said, I'd rather have a ROM that has a better battery life, than playing around with the cpu and kernel. I appreciate all the help you have given me ever since I joined this forum, Neopeek, thank you very much.
